MEET THE TEAM
The Founder of D.C. Metro Punjabi Arts Academy is Amrinder Pannu (Nana). He opened the academy in 2009 and led the academy to become one of the most prestigious academies in North America. Amrinder passed on the academy to Yuvraj Rathour, the current Owner. The academy is renamed under D.C. Metro Punjabi Academy (DCMPA).
The academy holds the same goals and values and hopes to pass it on to each generation!
Amrinder Pannu
Founder Of DCMPAA
Amrinder Pannu otherwise known as, Nana, is recognized globally for the hard work he is put in starting up D.C.'s premier bhangra academy. His main goal was to keep the roots of bhangra intact to the youth of this generation.
Yuvraj Rathour
Owner Of DCMPA
Yuvraj Rathour joined DCMPAA in 2015 as a student of the academy and slowly made his way up the ranks in the academy. With the guidance of Amrinder, he re-opened DCMPAA under the name DCMPA. He aims to provide the youth with the knowledge and skills of everything related to our punjabi culture!

Kunwar Rathour
Lead Instructor of Ashburn - VA Academy
Kunwar Rathour also joined DCMPAA in 2015 as a student of the academy he has competed at many competitions across the nation and played a big role in the rise of the academies name! Kunwar and Yuvraj work together alongside their friends and family to spread the Punjabi culture to the youth and keep our Virsa alive!
Mahtab Kahlon
Lead Instructor of Ashburn - VA Academy
Mahtab Kahlon joined DCMPAA in 2014 as a student of the academy. He has competed at many well known competitions across the nation. Mahtab works with Yuvraj alongside their friends and family to spread the Punjabi culture to the youth and keep our Virsa alive!
